After an emergency operation that nearly cost me my life, everything I thought I knew about success, ambition, and purpose shifted. In the stillness of recovery, when the noise of everyday life finally fell away, I was left with one undeniable truth: I had drifted far from the creative passion that once defined me.
Painting and photography had been the heartbeat of my college years — my way of translating emotion into colour, light, and form. But as life accelerated, that part of me was pushed aside. It took a near-death experience to bring it back into focus.
What began as a way to heal slowly became a way to live again.
Brushes that had been untouched for years felt familiar the moment I picked them up. My camera became a way to honour the world I almost lost. Every stroke, every frame, every experiment with texture and tone felt like reclaiming a part of myself.
